Each day we are subjected to all sorts of claims. Depending on where you are an what you do will determine the stuff coming at you. Yesterday I read about this medication loaded with chemicals that will put your body out of balance. The day before that I read about a single,one size fits all technique that will have you experiencing only joy for ever and beyond. Without self leadership people fall for this.
Today, 12 days in to 2010 is a good time to make some personal vows. Mahatma Gandhi said it well with ” A life without vows is like a ship without an anchor or like an edifice that is built on sand instead of a solid rock “. Setting some personal vows will guide your decsions and help you to see through the glamour and illussion. Some examples could be
- I commit to directing the physical enengy in my body in a way that builds more strength
- I commit to clearing distortion from my perceptions on a dail baisis
- I commit to self honesty
- I commit to living my life in balance at all levels
These are just a few examples. It could be any number of things you commit to.
